Brooklyn Standard Union of Dec 23, 1931. Johan S. BENSON, born forty-one years ago in Sweden and a resident of the
United States for the past six years, died Monday. He resided at 586 Bergen street. He is survived by his wife Alma MARTINSON BENSON; two sons, Agna and Lars, and two brothers and three sisters in Sweden. He was a member of the
Syskonkedjan Lodge, 306, O. of V. of Brooklyn. Funeral services will be held at Ericson & Ericson’s Chapel, 500 State street today at 2 P.M. with the Rev. Victor LARSON, pastor of the First Swedish Baptist Church officiating.
Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. I am not related & have no other info.
