I am trying to trace the children of Benjamin Benson who lived in New Milford, CT, as early as 1766. You may be descended from him. He had sons Benjamin, John, Ambrose and Bryant. Also, a daughter, Lydia, married a cousin, Elisha Benson, and lived at New Milford. From early census records, it appears they had large families, but I have not found records of their children except for those of the son Benjamin.
