I'm looking for information on Paul Benoit dit Livernois and his descendants with a primary focus on his Vermont descendants.
As far as I know this is how I descended from Paul & his wife Isebelle (aka Elizabeth)
Francois & Dania Angelique Chagnon,Francois & Catherine Fountaine,Francois & Marie Angelique Gipoulou,Francis & Marie Josephe Sene (Lucinda),Francis Levanway & Releif Bevins (who were my 3rd great grandparents and who I know are buried in a Milton,VT cemetery as I've been there myself),Thomas Levanway & Susan Gifford (who descended from 3 of the Mayflower passengers),Maria Levanway & David Osborne,Luman Osborne & Edith Jones,my mother Patricia Osborne and then myself.
I'm interested in all branches of these people from Paul Benoit on down but especially the Levanway descendants of his who came down from Quebec to Vermont. I'm also interested to know if anyone has information regarding the women who married into my Benoit/Levanway line such as who their parents were & their ancestry.
I read a post by Marcel Benoit in the Benoit Gen Forum which discussed briefly a book on the Vermont Levanways by a man named Bob. I wondered how I could contact this Bob abd or take a look at his book as well as obtain a copy of it for myself.
I also have specific questions about this family but will ask them in individual posts.
