Seraphin Benoit married Catherine Brossard and they had at least eight children. [Seraphin's lineage is Paul Benoit, Francois, Jean-Baptiste, Charles]
Per the marriage registry, one of their sons, Joseph Benoit married a Marie Comeau on September 11, 1843 in the parish Missions-Des-Cantons-De-L’est, Brome, Quebec. The parents of Marie Comeau are listed as Jean-Baptiste and Apolline Auprix.
My GGGrandfather also married a Marie Comeau. The death certificates of my GGrandfather Charles Louis Benoit and his brother, my GGrand Uncle, Louis Benoit both list their father as Benjamin Benoit and their mother as Marie Comeau.
Does anyone know the full name of Joseph Benoit? Could his name be Joseph Benjamin Benoit? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
