France. Married abt. 1630 in St. Prix de Montmorency, Île de France, France. They had 1 son that I have been able to find: 2 Gabriel Benoît (Benoist) dit Laforest (Oct. 26, 1636-Oct. 27, 1686) Born: St. Prix de Montmorency, Île de France, France; Died: Trois-Rivières, PQ age 50. Came over to Canada sometime before October 1662. +wife: Marie-Anne Guédon (Guesdon) (?, 1641-Mar. 22, 1732) Born: Magny-en-Vexin, Normandy, France; Died: Yamachiche, PQ age 91 Orphan daughter of Thomas and Isabelle (de Morin) Guédon (Guesdon) She came over to Canada as a “Fille du Roi” (King’s Daughter), sponsored by Louis XIV), landing on Oct. 2, 1665 at Quebec City on the ship, “Le Vaisseau de Normandie” Married: Oct. 26, 1665 in LaTouche (Champlain) Trois-Rivières, PQ.
