Richard and Millicent Bennison
Posted by: Holly Blake (ID *****1438) Date: June 08, 2006 at 08:30:22

Lancashire, England:
Richard married Millicent around 1840. Before that, in 1839 Thomas Fielding was born, I believe his mother was Millicent, though it could have been his sister. I haven't found Thomas' birth certificate yet, but his Baptism shows only a Melicent listed as mother, no father. Of course, Millicent may have been a name for both mother and sister? On an 1851 census, Richard and Millicent are listed as Pennison and living with them is Thomas Fielding listed as son, along with several other children all with the last name Bennison.

Does anyone recognize these people? Richard and Millicent went on to have a number of children such as Alice (who married John Houlker), Betty, Ellen, Grace, Jane, Mary, Millicent, Richard, and William.

Thanks.
