The 1881 census index on the LDS Family Search site <www.familysearch.org> shows Mary E. P. Bennison, carpenter’s wife, aged 43, born Banbury, living in Willesden, Middlesex. I have not found her husband in the census. I have information from a contact that she married William Bennison, a carpenter of Banbury in 1862, his source being Banbury Parish records.
I do not know if they had children. The only other person in the household at census time was Mary’s niece enumerated as Lucy Bennison, age 11, born Banbury whom I believe to be Lucy Ann Blencowe.
My interest is finding relatives of this couple who may have information on the Blencowes and especially the child Lucy. I have Blencowe information to share.
