Census records show the BENNIGHT/HICKS family in Fountain and Vigo counties, Indiana.
Minerva is believed to have been the child of Joseph A. BENNIGHT and Margaret "Peggy" ROSSON/RAWSON. Minerva was born in NY.
BENNIGHT is likely a corruption of BENOIT, according to oral history.
