I do know that the Freeman side was Choctaw but I don't know if the app. was for that side or if it was on his father's side also.
I have called the choctaw nation all they told me is if I couldn't find him on the rolls then they could not help me .There are a lot of Freeman's on the rolls so have been trying to tie the names together and getting a copy of the app. I think would help a lot.You can call them and see what they say to you.I also called the arcives in Fort worth Texas they said that I would have to come to the archive and do a search on my own.I have been trying to find a researcher in that area to do the search for me.
Where do you live I am in Kingman kansas so if I went ot Texas it would be a few hours for me.I tried to email you but it came back.
