Hi Heather. I was hoping that we had a match but my Phillip H. Bennick was born 1809 in Catawba County, North Carolina. Sounds like they could be of the same family doesn't it. My Phillip was married to Susan Henkel and had 9 children.
I do have a James M. Bennick born about 1836 but his parents were David R. Bennick and Mary Ann Reinhardt. Wish I could help you out. Maxine
