JOHN BENNETT
John Bennett A memorial service for John Bennett, 72, of Green Valley, Ariz., formerly of Illinois, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 25, at the Good Shepherd United Church of Christ, 17750 La Canada, Sahuarita, Ariz. He died Sunday, Oct. 11, 2009, at his home. Professionally, John was an educator; personally, John was a friend. John is survived by his wife, Janis Bennett; son, Jeffrey Bennett; daughter-in-law, Ellen Bennett; grandchildren, Hope, Blair, Luke and Owen Bennett; brothers, James and Gary Bennett; and his sister, Kathy Williams. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ada and Willis Bennett; brothers, Bill, Don and Dale Bennett; and most recently his son, Jay Bennett. In John's memory, contact an "old" friend and stay in touch. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in John's name to the Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC.org).
