Wade Bennett of Lake in the Hills Visitation for Wade Bennett, 43, will be from 4 to 8 p.m., with a prayer service at 7:45 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 8, at the James A. O'Connor Funeral Home, 11603 E. Main St., Huntley. Interment will be private. Born May 15, 1966, in Park Ridge, the son of Robert and Bonita (Haiduke) Bennett, he passed away Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2009, at his home. On Dec. 7, 1991, Wade married Joan Dunkel in Wauconda. He was an 18-year employee of Meyer Concrete, where he was a cement truck driver. He was an avid NASCAR fan, loved bowling and golf, and was a true athlete and sports fan who loved to play and watch sports. He is survived by his wife, Joan; his children, Lauryn and Sydney Bennett; his parents, Robert and Bonnie Bennett; aunts and uncle, Connie Haiduke and William (Marilyn) Bennett; and many cherished family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Henry and Lillian Haiduke, and AI and Pearl Bennett; and an uncle, Leonard Haiduke For information, 847-669-5111.
