Im looking for information On Henry B. & Mamie Bennett who were in the 1910 Census for San Saba County Texas. Their children were listed as Inza M. (Marguerite) Bennett Born: 1906, Thelma Bennett Born: 1908 and Henry A. Bennett Born: Abt 1909.
Marguerite Bennett married Clint Richard Sloan Sr of Navarro County Abt 1923 in Corsicanna Texas, Navarro County Texas. They had Barbara Lamar Sloan 1924, Richard Sloan 1925, and Gwendolyn Sloan abt 1929. Barbara and Richard were raised by Clint Sloans Mother Eula Calvin Sloan in Corsicana. Gwendolyn was adopted out to a neighborhood family.
Thelma Bennett never had any children and married late to Unknown Richards.
No known info on Henry A. Bennett. Its not even known if he survived to adult hood. I only heard stories of Marguerite and Thelma. So I was assuming there were no siblings. But I could be wrong.
1920n Census: No sign of any of them
By 1930 none of them but a Thelma Bennett show up in the Census.
Until I found the 1910 census I had no idea what Marguerite's Parents names were. She is my great grandmother. On My grandmothers birth certificate it says Marguerite was born in San Saba. So Im sure the Bennetts in the census are them because all the dates match for the children.
