I've corresponded with Karen McCloney in the past, about the Benners from Walter. Mine were Jagoder people, and we haven't been able to establish any connection yet, between the Walter Benners, and those from Jagodnaja Poljana. It would seem that you might know Karen, but if not, you should be able to find an email address for her on this site. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
