I am a Benner with Md ancestors. These Benner's aren't on any Md. records that I could find.But they were listed on the 1840 Lewis co.Mo.census, as Elias Benner.Then on the 1850 Knox co.census of Mo.they were listed as Elias with his household,David with his household, Joseph with his br. Christopher and mother Elizabeth. Elizabeths maiden name is unknown as is her husbands name. Just these brothers are listed no sisters known. Census say they were born in Md. and some census say that Joseph was born in Va. and some also say that Christopher was born in Va. All these brothers married in Mo. 1845, 1845, 1852 and 1855.
