In seeking my great-grandmother Anna Bemer, I ordered some probate papers from the IL Regional Archive Depository (IRAD); what I received was the probate papers, will & testimony for one ANNA S. BENNER; the Probate court papers were dated April 17, 1918.
The children's names were given in the papers:
Mrs. Agnes Andrews, Trinidad CO;
Rose Benner, Los Angeles, CA;
Anna S. Knoerr, St. Louis, MO;
Albert J. Benner, E. St. Louis, IL;
Theodore Benner, Milwaukee WI;
Elizabeth LeChase, St. Louis, MO;
Lucille Benton, E. St. Louis, IL;
Bernardina Benton, E. St. Louis, IL.
I have no use for these documents; I ordered them because of a typo when St. Clair County created their probate index! They cost me a total of $5, but before I throw them out, I thought I'd see if anybody on the Benner Family Genealogy Forum might want them.
