I have been asked before if my Christian Benner Sr married that Maria. Unfortunately I do not know. The only names I have for his wife is from the German church record...Cadarina Magdalena. She was born ca 1768. Their first child was named Maria, 2nd was Mary Magdalene, 3rd was Catherine (Cadarina). She seemed to name her daughters her own name. Perhaps her first name was Maria? The daughters were born somewhere? in Maryland. Then Dau Sarah was b1806 in Pennsylvania. From there son, Christian Jr was b 7 Aug 1814 in Cocke Co. Tenn. Does any of this have any new clue?
