I have a little information on Laura Woodin who married Reuben Benjamin. Laura (b. 1836 in Kinderhook, Columbia County, New York) was indeed the daughter of David Graves Woodin and Sarah G. Roraback. David and Sarah were married 30 April 1832 in the Reformed Dutch Church, Kinderhook, Columbia County, New York. Sarah was the daughter of Frederick Roraback and Nancy Greenman of Columbia County, New York. Reuben Moore Benjamin was born 29 June 1833 in Columbia County, New York and married Laura Woodin on 15 September 1856 in Columbia County. Reuben was the son of Daruis Benjamin and Martha Rogers. This Benjamin lineage in the United States is as follows: Daruis Benjamin/Martha Rogers; Ebenezer Benjamin/Phoebe Benjamin; Obediah Benjamin/Mary Yarrington; Joseph Benjamin/Elizabeth Clark; Joseph Benjamin/Sarah Clark; and finally John Benjamin/Abigail Eddye who came to Massachusetts from England in 1632 on the ship Lyon. This Benjamin lineage migrated from England to Massachusetts to Connecticut to New York and then on westward. I have no information on Kate Woodin. Hope this helps some.
