Seeking first name of D. Benham who married a Ms. LEONARD. This was Jane (LEONARD) ATWATER's sister.
Their father was Benjamin LEONARD who died 28 July 1872 in Brooklyn, NY.

Apparently he would have been buried near his wife (Jane BARBER or BARKER) who must have died in MA. This is a rough draft; additions and corrections are welcomed.

LEONARD - On Sunday, July 28, Benjamin Leonard aged 87 years.
Funeral services will be held at his late residence, 231 Putnam avenue near Nostrand, this day (Monday), July 29, at 4 o'clock P.M. His relatives and friends and those of his sons-in-law, D. Benham and J. H. Atwater, are in- vited to attend. His remains will be taken to Massachusetts for interment.
