I am seeking a Devonshire BENHAM family: Humphrey Courtney Benham, who married Elizabeth Blackmore in 1800 at Kentisbury, and had Sarah Courtney Benham,born circa 1801 (?).
The name "Courtney" which the Benhams used, is that a diviation of the "Courtenay" family?
I am stumped finding my Benhams and could use some advice.
