My gggrandmother, Sarah Elizabeth Benfer, was born Aug 15, 1832 in New Berlin, Snyder Co., PA. I am trying to identify who her parents were. She first married Henry Mowery and had two children by him. In 1859 she married my gggrandfather David George Ocker and had three children by him. They were married in PA. At least their first two children were born in PA. The first is listed as born in New Berlin and my ggrandfather in Lewiston, PA. They then moved to Missouri, Iowa and finally Kansas.
