Looking for information about a Philip Benfer that had land in Jersey County, IL in the 1840's. He died by 1846 when his daughter was married, Sarah Margaret Benfer to John Kent. He also had a daughter that was named Susanah that married George Stafford. Any assistance with this family would be appreciated.
