Joseph Benedict b. 1 Aug 1740 in New Milford, CT. m. Esther Ketchum and had Mary, Athena, Nancy, Esther, John, Rachel and Elizabeth. Probably Loyalist, removing to Nova Scotia after Rev. War, then to Leeds Co., Ontario and buried in Barsted (Bastard?) Ontario, having died 1 Sep 1844. Would like to correspond with anyone descended from this family.
