Hi Linda,
That's right, however John B who m. Phebe G. had a son who was Capt John B and that is who m. Sarah Hyatt - not James B.
John B. father of Capt John Benedict did not have a son James.
He had a brother James(as you stated) who m. Sarah G.
I'm concerned about me having Capt John B.
m. to Sarah Hyatt and you having a James B. m.to a Sarah Hyatt.
Hope I've made myself clear.
I can look it up in the Benedict Books at our genealogical library this week to be sure.
