My father was Clayton Benedict Hodge the soon of James Hodge and Katherine G Benedict. The Benedicts came from Vermont. His grandfather was Harley Wayne Benedict. My father was born and raised in Elgin Il . His grandfather was a dairy farmer in Elgin and and dad worked on his dairy farm becaise he knew about cows and how to take care of them. He met and married my mother in Oklahoma in 1930. He was born 22 Mar 1902.
