There is a whole Benedict Family Geanology availaable from Elwyn Benedict,, 7949 Adams Road, Kirkville, New York13082, Telephone: (315) 656-2311..

The Benedicts in America began in 1638 whn Thomas Benedict and his bride Mary Bridgum Benedict came to America on a talll ship named "The Confidence". They first went to the Massachusetts Bay Colony and, then to New York where they were farmers and wool manufactuers.

They, also, founded most of the State of Connecticut.

Their second-born son was named "John".

There is a Benedict Family reunion every year in New England.

I'm sure we must be cousins.

Sincerely,
