Seeking information on Amos BENEDICT and his wife Lydia SPRAGUE, specifically as it might relate to a daughter, Caroline BENEDICT, b. 30 June 1835 in NY -- Onandaga County?
Caroline m. Edwin Alonzo LOVELAND on 12 Feb 1856 in Wellington, Ohio. Edwin Alonzo died young (1866). In the 1890s Caroline lived with her son Edwin Benedict LOVELAND (m. 1893 Ruth EASTON) in Kansas City, MO. In the 1910s Caroline may have gone to live with her daughter Frances Ermina LOVELAND (m. 1887 William Leonard LOVELAND) in New City/Congers NY, possibly dying there in early 1920s.
Caroline BENEDICT LOVELAND was my mother-in-law's ggrandmother and my mother-in-law remembers vaguely a sense of Caroline being in the house when my mother-in-law (b. 1919) was very very young.
