I am looking for information on an Anna Benedict. She was my Father-in-laws (Albert Merle Evans) mother. They lived in Des Moines, and Boone Iowa. He was born in l915 and had three older brothers. Benedict may have been a married name from a former marriage. My Father-in-law feels that he had half brothers, but does't know if they were his mother's or his father's children. His Father's name was Herbert B. Evans. Emma moved to California with all the boys, and died shortly after arriving there. The 4 boys raised themselves in Glendale CA, and know nothing further of their parents. Albert thinks the step-brothers moved with them but he does not know what happened to them. Any help would be greatly appreciated, as Albert is the last living son.
