Benedicts in America Vol I, page 319, has the family of Abijah Benedict and (1) Abigail Corbin, among their children is a Uriah b. 1797 m. Amy M____. Had 12 children per census, unnamed. lived in Guilford, Chenango Co. Several siblings of Uriah or their children are in towns in NY, Rochester, Albany and others. Appears you could follow this family (Abijah) in 1800 thru 1850 census with little difficultyand Uriah prob 1820-1850.
