I am searching for the parents of my 4th great-grandfather, William Benedict, of Norwalk, CT. He was born there about 1755-60 and married Anna Elles. His daughter, Polly, is my direct line. I am positive that Billy was a direct descendant of Thomas Benedict, the emigrant, who came to America from England in 1638- but I can't link the two up for certain. If anyone could help, It would be really appreciated. Thanks!!!!
