Look no further than Vol I of the "Benedicts in America" page 366.
Capt. Daniel and Sarah had 9 children. Daniel as you say born Dec 27, 1731
Lemuel born Aug 10, 1734
Noah born May 25, 1737
Sarah born Jun 16, 1740
Jonas born Sep 21, 1742
Aaron born Jan 17, 1745 died Dec 18, 1841
Ruth born Jun 14, 1748
Mary born May 30, 1751
Amos born Mar 17, 1754

Capt Daniels parents were Daniel Benedict and Rebecca Taylor dau of Thomas,
See Probate Records Vol I, p 331-4. Will of March 26. 1762 proved Aug 5, 1776.

Daniel parents another Lieut. Daniel and Mary Marvin dau of Matthew Marvin

This Daniels parents were Thomas Benedict b 1617 and Mary Bridgum.
