Hi Betty, I feel like a real cad for not checking here sooner and responding. Was not expecting anyone to post anything so soon. I will be more vigilant.
I do not believe Stephen and Sarah Brown to be Ezekiel's parents. Stephen and Sarah Brown came to America ~ 1810 with 10 children and settled in NJ. I refer to this line as the NJ Benbrook's, and maintain information on them, including recent descendants. What are the odds of another Stephen and Sarah Brown coming to America sooner? Pretty high. I know there is a genealogy book out there that says Stephen and Sarah are the parents, but it just cannot be. Look for Abraham Benbrook, who was deported from Eng in ~ 1740, and sent to VA. I have these documents, but no written proof yet of his attachment to Ezekiel. Working on this. If you would like to be able to trace Stephen and Sarah, Joy Call has that information, she can be found at the roots web site, when you look for Benbrook. Jerry
