ABQ NM, AbeVelasques Benavides to Dimas to Mauricio in Peralta NM

I'm searching for my Dad's side of the family who originated somewhere in Spain. I'm mainly looking for the link from New Mexico to Spain.

My Dad's name is Ambrosio Velasques Benavides in Albuquerque, my Grandfather was Dimas (worked for the ABQ railroad,) my Great-Grandfather was Ambrosio from El Bosque NM. My grandmother was Guadalupe Velasques Benavides and my Great-Grandmother was Lorencita Rael Benavides in Peralta New Mexico.

If anyone has any further family links or knows of the Benavides link from New Mexico to Spain, please post a reply. Gracias!
