Ramon Benavides Marques, my great- grandfather. Born around 1840-1855. Do not know place of birth. At one point landed in Camaguey, Cuba. Married with Serafina Lorenzo-Luaces, around 1875-1885. Had a family in Camaguey where the rest of the Benavides family I know comes from there. Traveled to Nicaragua and New York, USA. I have heard that he might have started another family in New York, USA. In Cuba he was a wealthy landowner. Do not know anything else about him.
Any Benavides that may know something, please let me know.
