thank you javier, for the spanish history info. I was, of course, referring to the late 1500s period when fransico baez benavides moved to new spain, arriving in Nuevo Reino de Leon in 1620. He was
born on the Island of Tenerife in the Canaries in 1594 and was the son of Gonzalo Baez de Benavides
and Martha Lopez. He married Ines Rodriguez daughter of Juan Navarro and Maria Rodriguez.
