Here we are again, Codell! I've looked for Abraham Belton's parentage in the DAR library in Washington, DC two days this week without any luck so far, but there's a lot more to go through before I give up. Re your question on John B. Belton, b. 1883, I'm reasonably sure he's not directly connected to Abraham. Abe had six children, including the three sons you mentioned, plus John Belton and two daughters, Rebecca and Caroline. As I think I've mentioned to you before, William Henry was my grandfather. The only descendants of Abraham still bearing the Belton name are myself, my two sons, and two grandsons, and possibly descendants of the son of Hugh Toland Belton , Drennan, whom I've never managed to trace.
