I grew up in Mt. Airy, N.C. My father's name was Archie Walter Belton and my mother's name was Nanabet Johnson Belton. I have two sisters: Peggy Jane Belton Chilton and Dawn Elaine Belton Whitney. My grandfather's name was Ulysses Belton (was the sheriff of Surry County at some point around 1920). I am just beginning this quest for info. Thank you for any assistance you might render.
