Dear Tony,
My Bellomys were in Greenup and Carter counties, Kentucky, right next to Boyd County, and they were also in Wayne County, West Virginia, right across the river from Boyd. These Bellomys came over from Virginia, where they were present as early as the 1700s. My earliest proven ancestor in this line was also named Benjamin. I think there is a good chance we are related. If you would contact me [litlux@aol.com], I'll try to fill you in on some more of the details.
Joe David Bellamy
