Take a look at the sites I posted in another message on this forum. They will be of some help to you.

"Cape Bald" in French is "Cap Pelé" and that is how you will find the place on a map. Find MONCTON and Shediac and keep going right to the shore of the Northumberland Strait, and there it will be. By the way, the "Gallant" name is very common both in NB and across the waters of N. Strait in Prince Edward Island, where it is possibly the most common of all names.
