I am a little perplexed on one of My Acadian lines, namely the parentage of Marie Andree Guyon (Guion) widow of Andre Bernard who married Antoine Belliveau. Some trees I have seen on-line have her as tne daughter of Jean Guyon and Mathurine Robin. Somehow I think this is wrong because she is supposed to have been from La Chausee, Vienne, Isere, France and all the children of Jean Guyon were born in Tourouvre, Perche, France. Also I have noticed that in some Guyon/Robin trees there are two Maries and sometimes one is listed as Andree or Marie Andree, but I seldom see a marriage fo this person. I am a descendant of Jean Guyon and Mathurine through their daughter, Marie, who married Francois Belanger. Does anyone know the answer to any of this?
