Hi!
Sorry it has taken me so terribly long to get back! Am going a million directions and making progress in only a few.
As for both you and your husband's family both being Beliveau's, haven't you heard the theory that ALL Acadians are related? I actually believe that it's more than that. I firmly believe that all Acadians have an inborn magnite for other Acadians!! My husband's family emigrated to Minnesota and then to Washington state and changed their name to the anglized "Little". My family immigrated to Maine and then to Washington state and changed their French-Canadian name to "Perry". But my "cousin" and I found each other anyway and married!
But back to what I'm suppose to be doing. We were at Henri born in 1816.
Let's start at the top with your direct line in capital letters.

JEAN married JEANNE BOURG d/o Antoine & Antoinette LANDRY in Port Royal in 1671. (He married a second time in 1703 to Cecile Melanson d/o Charles & Marie Dugas).
The children of the first marriage were:
1)Madeleine m. 1693 to Francois Boudrot s/o Michel & Michelle Aucoin at Port Royal.
2) JEAN-CHARLES m. 1696 to MADELEINE MELANSON d/o CHARLES & MARIE DUGAS at Port Royal.
3) Charles m. 1699 to Marie Melanson d/o Charles & Marie Dugas. (My husband's family.)
4) Antoine m. 1702 to Marie Terriot d/o Claude & Marie Gaudet. (My family.)
5) Jeanne born in 1672.
Jean (Charles) Belliveau, known under the name of Jean called the Young, was born in 1674. Madeleine Melanson was born in 1679. Jean died in Port Royal and his burial occured on 13 Sept 1707. He died of a wound he had received while defending Port Royal against the English. He received the sacrements with great edification. He left four children: three boys and one girl. The Belliveaus of Memramcook are offspring of two of his sons and those of St. Mary's Bay of the third one.

JEAN CHARLES and MADELEINE MELANSON had the following chilren:
1) Charles m. 1717 11 03 at Grand Pre' to Marguerite Granger d/o Rene and Marguerite Terriot.
2) M.Madeleine m. 1723 01 21 at Port Royal to Francois Landry s/o Pierre & Madeleine Robichaud.
3) Pierre (Piau) m. 1728 01 12 at Port Royal to Jeanne Gaudet d/o Bernard & Jeanne Theriot.
4) JEAN m. 1730 11 13 at Port Royal to M. MADELEINE GAUDET d/o Bernard & Jeanne THERIOT.
5) Charlotte b. 1697
6) Madeline b. 1703
7) Louis b. 1700
Jean Belliveau was born in Port Royal in 1699. M. Madeline Gaudet was born in 1710. Jean died at St. Mary's Bay where his descendants are numerous.

The children of JEAN and M. MADELEINE were:
1) Anastasie m. 1760 06 12 at Restigouche to Salvator Comeau s/o Francois & Marie Laure.
2) Rosalie m. 1762 in exile to Hilarion-Charles Terriot s/o Jean & Madeleine Bourg.
3) Frederic m. 1768 in a civil rite to Marie Modeste Madeleine LeBlanc d/o Charles & Madeleine Girouard.
4) Marguerite Praxede m. 1766 in a civil rite to Pierre LeBlanc s/o Charles & Madeleine Girouard. This marriage was blessed by the Church on 1769 10 05 at Annapolis. Marguerite m.2 on 1799 06 01 by civil rite to Denis Doucet, widower of Marie Walsh. The marriage was blessed on 1799 08 29 by Pere Sigogne.
5) JEAN JACQUES m. in civil rite in 1770 to MARGUIERTE ROBICHAUD d/o Joseph & Marguerite COMEAU. The marriage was blessed on 1774 10 18 at Baie Sainte Marie.
