I am researching the family Grandfather, Louis Pius BELLIVEAU, commonly known as "Pius". and Celine GAUDET.
Pius was born in Ste Bernard, Digby Co., Nova Scotia, on December 12, 1881. His father was Pierre Martial BELLIVEAU, born on July 1, 1841 in Saint Bernard, Nova Scotia. His mother was Marguerite GAUDET, reportedly born on January 10, 1830. Pius immigrated to Malden, Massachusetts(Ma)about the year 1910 where he was later joined by his bride-to-be, Celine GAUDET. Pius worked for the MELANSON brothers, also of Malden, doing carpentry work. The following are Pius's siblings: Jean Pierre, Rose Emma (Phillips),Edouard, Charles Vincent and Olivier. Pius died in 1973.
