Hi Jody,

I caught your humor, my wife also shakes her and head and has a chuckle at the way I rattle of my family line in French, every generation seperated by "ą" which basically translates as "son or daugther of"
Stringing a bunch of them together can sound repitious as you say.

My initial message was as follows:

I would like more precise details re: the parents of Pierre Belliveau son of Jean-Charles Belliveau and his wife Jeanne Gaudet.

I have a entry in my family tree for a Pierre Belliveau and his wife Madeleine Melanson, would this be this same Pierre?

I have received some answers (a thank you to all that have responded)

Any more details you can supply would be greatly appreciated.

Ray S.
