Good morning (afternoon your time) again, David. I've decided to cut and paste in info I have re Amy Bellinger and her husband Ed Gerard so we can correlate any of the info about Amy.I've just pieced together my info from a variety of sources as best as I could over the last months. Here it is:
---------------------------------------------
Edward L. Gerard and Amy A. Bellinger
Amy A. Bellinger (originally spelled Amie, the French spelling) –may have been born in Elmira, NY in 1867-1868. Records show blurred versions of her birth place.
It is likely that her middle initial stands for “Almira or Arnold” because her mother's name was Almira (nee Arnold) Bellinger, daughter of William and Sarah Arnold. On her marriage license with Edward, she is recorded as being from Union Township.
Amy A. was the daughter of Philip (alternately spelled the French way in early records as Philippe) Bellinger and Almira Arnold.(Again, census records are sometimes notoriously inaccurate so her name is spelled sometimes Almyra and sometimes just blurred.)
Amy A. Bellinger and Edward Lorenzo Gerard filed for their marriage license in December, 1889 in Isabella County, Michigan. They were married December 24,1889 or 1890 – Ed was 25 and Amy was 22 years old -in Shepherd, Michigan, Isabella County and were married by F.M. McClintic; witnesses were Herbert Nicholson and Millie Johnson, both from Lincoln Township.
Edward L. Gerard was a farmer and owned a farm outside of Mt Pleasant, Michigan.Edward L. had grown up on the farm there or nearby.Records show that his residence at death was Deerfield Township in Isabella County.
Ed and Amy (A. Bellinger) had two children:
-Glen K Gerard - b. October 13, 1890
-Myra C. – b. Oct. 30, 1891 born in Mt Pleasant(Myra's real name was Elmira but she didn't like that name and went by Myra; d. 1970)
Amy died on February 8, 1928 at 60 years of age from heart trouble – she died at her farm home near the Indian School in Mt Pleasant. She had been suffering from stomach trouble for some time. She and Ed had been living at their home for about 25 years or since about 1903.Her funeral was held on Feb. 10 at the Methodist church with Rev. M.E. Reusch officiating. Survived by her husband, daughter, and brother Ellis Bellinger of Flint.
After Amy’s death, Ed lived with his daughter Myra and her family according to the Michigan 1930 US Census.Edward L. died on August 10, 1934 at 70 years, 6 months, and 4 days of age from myocarditis, hepatitis, and other causes listed that are illegible in records.Ed L. and Amy are both buried in Riverside Cemetery next to Philip and Almira Bellinger.
Myra C. Gerard married Elmer C. Tanner on November 12, 1910. Elmer was born on November 11, 1891.Elmer was brakeman and conductor on the Ann Arbor Railroad for 40 years.
Michigan 1930 Census records for Shiawassee County, Owosso City, 3rd Ward, show Elmer Tanner, age 38; Myra C. Tanner, age 38; Edward, age 10; Robert, age 6; and twin boys Dale and Gale, ages 1yr and 8/12 mos.; and father-in-law Edward Gerard, age 66.Elmer's job in that records is listed as "yardmaster" at the Railroad.
Girl born 1911 - died in infancy.
Edward Elmer – born about 1920
Robert – born about 1924
Dale and Gale – born about 1928
Myra worked at the D.M. Christian Co. in Owosso when she was in her 40’s – she applied for her SS# at the age of 46 when she lived at 715 Grand Avenue in Owosso. Myra’s SS# was 375-16-4830.
Elmer passed away on Sept 12, 1953.This is his obituary from the local paper (Argus?):

Tanner, 61, a brakeman and conductor on the Ann Arbor Railroad for 40 years, died Friday morning at his residence at 715 Grand Avenue.Mr. Tanner started to work for the railroad on June 9, 1913 when he came to Owosso from Mt.
