Beckie, thanks for responding, but I think I've found about 3 or 4 Thomas Bellews who lived in Missouri about the same time. I'm afraid yours is probably a little too late. I have found a connection with someone who believes that our g-grandfathers were brothers, sons of Thomas. So far everything that we have to compare matches up, but we don't have much to go on. The Thomas she has (we think our g-g-grandfather, spelled Belew) was born 1811. I think this is the time period I'm looking for. Thanks again.
