The only info that I have on Mayo is : b. 1867 in Chariton co , Mo census 1870 . He was there in 1880 also . I hven;t checked the 1900 census . In the 1910 census of Pawnee co , Ok . It lists Mayo as a bartender . I have lost the census sheet so I'll have to go find it again .
My grandfather ( Lee Shelby Bellew son of William H. )said that uncle Mayo and ggrandfather William H . were very strong , and very rowdy . My ggrandfather owned the bar that Mayo worked in .
What do you know about Mayo ? Is he part of your family ?
