Ruth do you have any idea where Caroline was born ? State , or county ?
I know that my ancester was b. 1825 in Ky .
He later moved and married in Missouri.
In the 1870 Chariton co , Missouri census James P. Ballew was found . In the 1880 census for the same county , they spelled there name Bellew .I have alittle more info .
