Hi Andy,
My mother is a Bellew and we are in Louth, Ireland. I'm working on our family tree at the moment and I have a Grandfather and Great-Grandfather who were Patrick. I will be investigating births/death/marriage records soon in the National Archive. Bellews are quite numerous in Louth though so I'm not sure if this is the same branch.
