Searching for the following families:
Thomas R. Billue b: abt 1814 TN d: unknown, probably in AL,
married: Elizabeth Herring b: abt 1815 SC d: unknown,
probably in AL
Would like to know when and where Thomas died and who his parents are. Also, when and where Elizabeth died.
Children of Thomas R. and Elizabeth:
1. Mary b: abt 1838 GA
2. Eliza b: abt 1840 GA
3. Stephen D. b: abt 1841 AL
4. J M "Ivie" b: abt 1844 AL
5. Robert Ivry (aka "R I") b: Sept 16, 1846 AL and died May 12, 1928 in Vinita, Craig County, Oklahoma. (This Robert Ivry is mistranscribed in census records as Robert J/R J). The name Billue is spelled with many variations.
6. Winnie b: abt 1849 AL
7. Kinchern b: abt 1851 AL
The above Robert Ivry Billue married Manie Ellen, (maiden name unknown, but could possibly be Mayne). Manie was born March 9, 1852 in AL and died May 8, 1926 in Pushmataha County, Oklahoma. Robert and Manie are buried in a small cemetery in Pushmataha County, OK.
Children of Robert and Manie:
1. Charles b: 1869 AL d: unknown
Would like to know when and where Charles died and who he married. I believe he married in AL as his children were born there, according to census records.
Have been unable to locate Charles since the 1880 census. I know he married and had 3 children. 1. Nancy Ellen Billue, born in 1890 in AL, who is my great-grandmother. She married Horace Gibson. Nancy Ellen and Horace both died in Antlers, Pushmataha County, OK in a tornado on 12 April 1942. 2. James Robert Billue, born 1893 AL, died unknown, but have traced him through census and military records to Illinois. 3. Cora C. Billue who married an unknown Graham. I know nothing else about her. In 1900 James and Cora are living with their grandparetns, RI and Manie, in Montgomery County, AR.
I would love to find any info on the family of Charles, who his wife was and when and where they died. Why were the 2 children living with the grandparents? WHERE IS NANCY ELLEN?
She reappears in 1910 married to Gibson.
2. William H. b: Feb 9, 1874 AL and died 1915 Pushmataha County, OK, buried next to his parents. (never married)
3. Arthur D. b: 1879 GA d: 1903 AR, married Sarah Lee
4. Robert H. b: 1883 GA d: 1946 OK, married Mary Clayton
5. Dora b: 1886 AL d: 1925, married William Jones
6. Cora b: unknown d: unknown, married unknown Green
If any of this sounds familiar to anyone out there, please contact me. I would especially like to find any info on the family of Charles.
