Your Great-Great Grandparents' [James & Catherine [Moroney] Bellew] graves are located at the Catholic Cemetery, about 1 mile west of Oconto on Mott Street that runs into a river road - not sure of it's name.
The gravesite location is:
Catholic Cemetery, Oconto, Oconto Co., Wi, Block 12.
They are directly located across a small access road, to Catherine's sister, Mary Louise Maroney and John James Noonan and many descendants from that family.
We could also show you the location of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Oconto where Catherine Moroney donated statuary for stations of the cross as did her sister & husband - Noonan's. See this online at:

If you right click and select "view image" you can get a closer look.
To tour the church, we now contact "Holy Trinity Church" which is a combination of St. Joseph's and St. Peter Churches of Oconto. St. Joseph's is slated for demolition as Holy Trinity is building a new church. What a major shame ... they can't afford to keep it up and make the repairs. You can stop at the church office -- Madison St., Oconto.. to get a key or ask to have someone give you a tour. Church records are available ... probably by appointment is best.
Many records are held at the diocese office on Webster St.{?} in Green Bay, WI. Also, The Cofrin Library, University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, has afternoon, early evening hours, and holds, in a controlled climate, many records from Oconto.
